Polluting young minds.

I just got an email this morning letting me know that a 5th Grade class in Fredericksburg, VA is featuring my new CD in their "Music for the Week" series!

I suppose they could listen to the song "New Eyes" to talk about cell regeneration, or "I Saw Greenland" to talk about world geography, or "Dialysis Carpool" for health class. Of course, "If You Have A Question" is appropriate as well.

It's not a regular occurrence for elementary schools to play my music. I suppose I owe this particular situation to their teacher Mr. Todd Miller who also happens to be a singer/songwriter/performer and recording artist. Here's pic of me and Todd rocking out at LiFest in Wisconsin a few years ago.

To My Fellow Brethren in Christ,

God has called me to write this letter to you today. I ask you to read this letter in prayer with an open heart. Please read these next few passages from the Gospel of John very carefully, John 6, 47-69:

47 Amen, amen, I say to you, whoever believes has eternal life. 48 I am the bread of life. 49 Your ancestors ate the manna in the desert, but they died; 50 this is the bread that comes down from heaven so that one may eat it and not die. 51 I am the living bread that came down from heaven; whoever eats this bread will live forever; and the bread that I will give is my flesh for the life of the world."

52 The Jews quarreled among themselves, saying, "How can this man give us (his) flesh to eat?" 53 Jesus said to them, "Amen, amen, I say to you, unless you eat the flesh of the Son of Man and drink his blood, you do not have life within you. 54 Whoever eats my flesh and drinks my blood has eternal life, and I will raise him on the last day. 55 For my flesh is true food, and my blood is true drink. 56 Whoever eats my flesh and drinks my blood remains in me and I in him. 57 Just as the living Father sent me and I have life because of the Father, so also the one who feeds on me will have life because of me. 58 This is the bread that came down from heaven. Unlike your ancestors who ate and still died, whoever eats this bread will live forever." 59 These things he said while teaching in the synagogue in Capernaum.

60 Then many of his disciples who were listening said, "This saying is hard; who can accept it?" 61 Since Jesus knew that his disciples were murmuring about this, he said to them, "Does this shock you? 62 What if you were to see the Son of Man ascending to where he was before? 63 It is the spirit that gives life, while the flesh is of no avail. The words I have spoken to you are spirit and life. 64 But there are some of you who do not believe." Jesus knew from the beginning the ones who would not believe and the one who would betray him. 65 And he said, "For this reason I have told you that no one can come to me unless it is granted him by my Father."

66 As a result of this, many (of) his disciples returned to their former way of life and no longer accompanied him. 67 Jesus then said to the Twelve, "Do you also want to leave?" 68 Simon Peter answered him, "Master, to whom shall we go? You have the words of eternal life. 69 We have come to believe and are convinced that you are the Holy One of God."

Jesus speaks to us in these passages, and He makes himself very clear. Jesus’ body is the bread and His blood is the wine. Moreover, to get to Heaven we must eat His body and drink His blood. While it is true that we do this in remembrance as He said at the Last Supper, make no mistake about it, there is no symbolism whatsoever in Jesus‘ Word here. To this day there is only one Church passed down form the apostles almost 2000 years ago where you can eat and drink the true presence of our Lord Jesus Christ. None of us can fully understand how the Eucharist works. We must simply have the faith that because Jesus himself taught this, it is Truth.

Now is your chance to come home to Jesus’ one true Holy Catholic and Apostolic Church. The reformists from the past whom started your churches may have had valid reasons for being upset with the Catholic Church, but they went about fixing it in the wrong way. We should not have divided. We should have stayed united. Think about where your church came from, and if you are not sure, do a little research into the history of your church. You will find that your church either broke off directly from the Catholic Church or broke off of a denomination that broke off directly from the Catholic Church. We allowed Lucifer to divided us into thousands of pieces and take away form you the most important part of the Mass, The Most Holy Eucharist. The longer we are divided, the more divided we are becoming. There are over 40,000 denominations world wide and the number of people leaving to start their own religion is growing every day. Remember the old military saying “divide and conquer“? Today even the denominations are splitting into denominations. There is no doubt about it, we have been divided, and if we don’t reunite soon, the devil is going to show us an evil that will make 9/11 look small in comparison. Now is the time for us to fix what was broken into thousands of denominations by Satan, which started hundreds of years ago, and we all have to come together to work as one Church as Jesus originally intended for us. Greatness will come out of a united Christianity under one Catholic Church once again.

Remember this, I am not the one saying these things and I surely did not make any of this up myself. This message comes form Jesus Christ Himself. I am just the messenger. Jesus is the one who said, “Whoever eats my flesh and drinks my blood has eternal life, and I will raise him on the last day.“

You now have a choice to make: either turn from Jesus and leave him like many of his earliest disciples did, or believe that Jesus would never lie to us as He is “the Holy One of God” and like the apostles, lead His flock home to Communion with all the angels and saints. Miracles will happen if we simply do as God asks and believe.

If you are afraid, remember that there is great joy in suffering for the Lord! Do not be afraid! And if you ever become confused as to who your true brethren are, just read Matthew 12, 48-50.

Peace Be With You,

John Foytik
